Diagonal strut Diagonal braces are used for
stiffening crank-operated or universal
scaffolding jacks. The hole of the brace at the
end of the inner tube is hung in the appropriate

and the bracket at the opposite end bolted to
the foot of the second crank-operated or
universal scaffolding jack. The connecting
bracket is part of this article. The complete
bracing assembly can be telescoped between
